The mission of the Melrose Cooperative Bank Foundation is to provide financial support to charitable and community service organizations in our community.

The Foundation is dedicated completely to community activities and the promotion of charitable causes.

History of the Foundation
The Melrose Cooperative Bank Foundation (MCBF) was founded in 2015 to provide financial support to charitable and community service organizations in the communities in which Melrose Bank operated. In 2020, Melrose Bank merged with Cambridge Savings Bank, however, the Melrose Cooperative Bank Foundation remains as a 501(c)3 private foundation to serve the community.

Melrose Cooperative Bank was founded in 1890 and served the community for nearly 130 years. The Melrose Cooperative Bank Foundation continues the legacy of charitable giving in Melrose and surrounding communities.
